Designer duo Shane Gabier and Christopher Peters picked London’s Spencer House (the 18th-century mansion that belongs to Princess Diana’s family) for their first resort runway show.
The collection is called Harmonium which reflects the “cultural and global smudging” of the old England, pre- and post-revolutionary Russia and the supernatural fright film of Dario Argento.
Each piece is daily-wearable. Antique wallpaper and furnishing-type prints on blouses with ribbon ties on the sleeves are our favourite.
Ribbons and black grosgrain stand out their way through the collection, as did ties at the bottom of wide-leg jeans and sculpted sleeves of dark, Victorian-style blouses. It is completely a beautiful collection as its quirkiness and a great appreciation of colour, pattern, and texture attitude.
