Lyndsey Butler was born in Texas and at 18 she moved to New York and three years later she got her first job in fashion.
In 2008 she launched VEDA, setting out to make the perfect leather jacket. The emphasis was on fit and leather of the highest quality; an elegant layer designed to protect against the myriad challenges of modern living.
Today her designs can be found on the backs of celebrities ranging from Karlie Kloss, Emily Ratajkowskito, Eva Chen and top bloggers including Leandra Medine of Man Repeller and Jayne Min of Stop It Right Now.
For this Pre Fall 17, the brand drew the inspiration from the contemporary artists and the way they register alternate universe through psychedelic installations and experimental video art works. Influences are ever evident in sparkling, off the shoulder tops, metallic leather minis, and staple leather jackets updated with patchworks in denim.
